- Businesses that provide only services also known as service businesses. Example an accounting consulting business
- Businesses that sell products also known as merchandise businesses. Example: Target, Walmart, etc.
- Businesses that manufacture products. Example Nike
In this course we do not cover the accounting for manufacturing business. This section focuses on the merchandise business.
